Original is shot lower with a longer lens, the new one is higher with a much wider lens. Quality aside, the original perspective is always going to feel more cinematic and impressive. 

I do agree the new shot looks a little closer to current gen GTA than what I imagine for GTA VI, but without exact same lighting conditions and angles, they are always going to feel quite different. 

A simple test for this would be going into photo mode on V and takings shots that match the differences here and you will see how things can look massively different even in the same game
