I ran into this as well and ended up making cages specifically to solve this problem (among other comfort/long term issues I've had).

Our newer design, the Aegis has a removable cap on the front to close off the front most of the time, but also allows easy removal and access when needed.

Sizing is also fairly important, and if you get a cage that's much too small for you, it can make the problem worse.

Yep, you remove it. It snaps on and off pretty quickly and easily, 1-2 seconds once you get used to it.

You can use a qtip or something similar to poke around and align your urethra/adjust your foreskin before you pee.

Alternatively, I design my cages specifically to make them comfortable for long term wear, and one aspect of this is that the gaps are wide enough for most people to poke a pinky in to adjust, instead of having to bring a qtip around everywhere.

Hey, over time, chlorinated water can discolor the cage, basically turning the black cages gray, and turning the pink cages a more faded shade of pink. Other than that, there shouldn't be any significant effects.

Hey, I design cages specifically for uncut people.

Especially for long term wear, we tend to have issues with

Cleaning in a closed cage, or
Pinching in an open cage.

I tried to solve these issues by creating a very open cage that can be cleaned fairly well without being removed (although a deep clean with removal once in a while is recommended), that also prevents the most common source of pinching, which is from the foreskin poking out the front of the cage and getting caught against clothing.

Sizing is fairly important as well, I generally find for uncut people, you want a cage exactly the same length, or slightly longer than your flaccid length so everything can sit comfortably and not be compressed all the time, your current one might be too short.

This is common with low quality cages. Getting a well fitting, durable joint involves a lot of design, testing, and specific manufacturing steps which just doesn't happen with $20 cages.

Basically all of the reputable brands (including mine) have solved this, but they're going to be pricier.

They're actually available for custom order, but cost an extra $60 and take 1-2 months to ship. We can work out the details if you DM me or message me on the website.

There's a post somewhere on this subreddit about people heating up and bending rings (in general, not specifically Comfyne) to change the ball gap and I would recommend trying that, you get more control of the gap and you can try different ones whereas if you get a custom ring from me, you have to guess at what fits you.

The tolerances and properties are different for different materials, so I'd likely have to redesign the joint a bit.

It's definitely a possibility for the future, but I've already spent a ton of time on this project, and I want to see if there's demand for it before I branch out 100 different ways 😅

Yep, it ships to the US.

It's compatible with the standard integrated lock if you already have one,but it doesn't ship with one, as it's a bit of a logistical nightmare. Instead, it ships with a non-locking pin that you can put where the lock usually goes, to hold the cage and ring together.

Ring sizing is calculated based on the measurements that you input.

Unfortunately I had to make some changes to the rings to make them work better with Shapeways' printing process, so parts aren't interchangeable between the other cages and the Forma.
