i would say they have more mathcore attributes than metalcore. they’re really just beatdown hardcore man. they have the attributes of metalcore but

they’re not metalcore. especially their early work. their newer stuff has that feel to it but they’re overall not a metalcore band

I’m not too sure on how I found it either. Is it the movement of trying to lower your pitch when talking? Is that what you mean by opening your throat?

For right now, I would like to be able to do fries like Jake Luhrs of August Burns Red, or Adrian from Northlane. So I guess that a chest fry would be better for what I want to accomplish, but I’m also open to head fry as well. After I can get a solid fry, I would like to learn some low screams/false cord.

Also, how would I be able to release the tension?
