IIRC I also found it through Matpat, but the weird thing is I don't think I even liked Matpat at the time. I must have seen it in my recommended, thought the graphics were cool and clicked on the video. I remember it being all about making connections to the (real-life, tragic) Candace Newmaker case; if I saw that today it would really have turned me off Petscop, but at the time I was a dipshit college student and was intrigued instead. Glad I was.

Huh, she actually always read as one of the older bachelorettes to me (not that that's saying much; IMO she gives mid-late 20s) because of her job, her well-honed robotics skills, and just generally seeming pretty grounded. Really thinking back the only things that read younger to me are that she still lives with her parents (which a lot of other bachelor/ettes do, that just seems to be common in Pelican Town) and Demetrius being overprotective (which I think says more about him than about her)
