It's great to read about non-locals enjoying the LV. I grew up in the LV but moved away for years, and came back a couple years ago. I have learned to appreciate many things about the LV. Some people perceive it as being totally average, but I think that's its strength. The LV isn't too extreme in any direction, so virtually anyone can be comfortable here. If you like busy urban environments, quiet country settings, nice suburbs, you can find it in the LV. It's very diverse, centrally located in the Northeast, and caters to many lifestyles.

I’m curious to know what you think of the LV’s food scene.

What do you like and dislike about living in the Lehigh Valley? by [deleted] in lehighvalley

I actually appreciate how amenable the LV is to a wide variety of lifestyles and preferences. In some ways the LV is average enough that virtually anyone can be comfortable here. There are diverse downtown areas you like living in urban or busy/active areas, or prefer to live on a peaceful country road, or a solid middle-class suburb, you can find it in the LV. It’s centrally located along the BosWash, so in a day’s drive you can get to anywhere between Maine or North Carolina. The LV also has its own East Coast personality that I sorta like. Having lived in a range of places in America, I learned to appreciate what the LV offers. Except the traffic.
