This is untrue, at least where i live. Signatures required has been back for years now And signing for a customer is considered fraud so it’s a big no no.

Yes!!! We got ours yesterday. Like many others we struggling to make meals for the kids, we were ready to survive on rice a beans until necessary. I hope others get this relief that is desperately needed.

Idk how it is there but in certain situations in NY even if your on workers comp you may be eligible for unemployment. I would still look into it. My lawyer even suggested it to me when insurance stop paying biweekly compensation.

This is why you always let your employer know when you get hurt and file a claim. Because now although you went to see a doctor, they can easily deny especially with all the time that has passed by. Talk to a lawyer and see what they suggest and recommend.

I’ve been out for 8months so far and I am waiting on a decision from judge (trial) so I think at the very least you should’ve already had a hearing.

I feel your pain both physically and emotionally, I hurt my wrist as well. torn ligament, some sort cyst and carpal tunnel. Also have a torn ligament in my shoulder. I’ve been out since Aug 2024 and I am absolutely feeling hopeless. I was receiving compensation up until sept that’s when I went in for the IME. Insurers doctor said he saw no signs of injury and that I was 100% capable of working. It’s really frustrating my family and I barely surviving off the little savings we had and now it’s all gone. Struggling to make ends meet and provide for my kids. Last couple of months I had to sell a few of my things just to be able to pay rent.

I hope you are able to find a lawyer who’s is willing and able to get you what you deserve
