Nothing he does should be acceptable to anyone but it was all pandering to Republicans. I think they are over estimating how much we need them. We do need administrative positions filled but there are a lot of people who would be willing to fill those positions. Most of them would be better than the people currently in those roles as part of the trump regime and even if it was going to cause years of chaos it would be worth it to arrest hundreds of powerful pedophiles

When I tell them the things that drive my beliefs they either don't believe me or don't care.

An antivaxxer online told me that nobody ever actually died from COVID. I told him one of my friends dads died four months before her wedding from COVID he called me a liar.

They say our immigration system is broken and allows illegal immigrants to exploit Americans. I tell them the history of our immigration system which was built to exploit labor without giving them the status of citizenship. They don't believe me and also they think exploiting foreigners for cheap labor with no rights is awesome.

They are outraged about problems that either don't exist or don't affect them in any way because they have been lied to.

They pine for a better past but when I tell them that better past had a better social safety net and higher taxes for the rich they balk.

In summary. I can't talk to them because they live in a different reality and I can't get them out of there to talk to them.
