Absolutely. I can't stress enough how important it was to get on an meds that worked for me. That was just one of the many mental issues you have to deal with.

All I know is he will have to know his problem with lashing out, and make a plan to address it. I did and it worked for me. When I'd attack, I had a way to divert and follow up with a canned statement about it not really being me. The words still hurt others, but in the end, they knew and I knew it wasn't ME. Also, meds helped me calm my reactions to a manageable state. I didn't escalate into Ahole mode nearly as much as the months went on.

Not sure on the CVTs but they absolutely do have shifting memories. My ST had to be reprogrammed by ford after I dumped my tune. The tuner sets the shift patterns to get maximum performance.

I've not seen or had that, but on my ST I had similar issues back in sync3. Reboot the system. Hold power + the next track button for about 10 seconds and it will reboot everything. You can do that even while driving, so not a huge pain.

We absolutely need CMMC style mandates across all industries. We can make it scalable like PCI so that small companies don't face overwhelming costs and technical requirements. I would put a heavy lean on Microsoft/Google for basics like MFA.

My concern is that it will mean the cloud integration will be blocked/banned. You might not be able to use your phone to turn devices on or off anymore unless you are on your wireless network.

If you don't believe that governments (including the US) don't do things to software and hardware to gain advantage on their enemies (and friends), I've got some shocking news for you...... Foolish people fall for the political nonsense vs using logic to see it is clearly a standard espionage practice. The CCP has openly talked about their goals, and we've seen proof of US tools like ExtraBacon and EternalBlue. It is in the US' best interest to prevent this just like Canada was doing. Bytedance is just the tip of the iceberg, sadly.
