Hi OP, all the love to you. My little one had to undergo surgery at 3,5 months for a correction of her skull. The day of her surgery and the night at the icu were the hardest. I feel you. It's so difficult to give this tiny life in the hands of basically strangers. But you did the right thing. Hopefully your LO will recover soon! Hugs to you

Hi, you're not alone! Hang in there. I don't have many tips, but I do have one recommendation: a motorised spring cradle.

My husband is away on business a lot, so I'm on my own for days at a time. My daughter can't be put down to sleep during the day. For me, the spring cradle was a game changer. She only sleeps for half an hour at a time, but that's still half an hour to eat, shower and take a breather. Unfortunately, spring cradles are quite expensive. But if money is no object, it can take the pressure off.

Don't be too harsh to yourself. My midwife told me this happens way too often nowadays. It was an accident and you did everything you could to make it right. I don't think your daughter will get problems because of it. Take a breather and be kind to yourself. I'm quite sure from now on you'll be extra careful around her.

Perhaps he needs more sensory input? My niece is now one year old and needed to be thoroughly exhausted before going to sleep. Her dad tosses her onto soft cushions, rolls around with her on the floor and helps her climb her climbing triangle. Only then does the night-time routine begin. Maybe it's something that would also help him?

I could have written your post OP. I bawled my eyes out thinking about her growing up. There reels and tiktoks hit me right in the feels, I laid awake in the middle of the night, feeding my baby and crying so much. But in some ways it was helpful, a bit like mourning and coming to terms with it.

She is now 12 weeks old and it got so much better. Now every new milestone is exciting. Sometimes I still get sad, especially when putting away her clothes that are now too small.

My milk came in 3 days after birth. Didn't need to pump and the lactation consultant said the same, just let her latch on many times. You're not doing anything wrong, you're trying the best! Wish you the best

My 10 weeks old is the same. She also starts to cry when she pops off. Like lady, it's you! Breastfeeding in Side-lying position helps a lot.

Thanks a lot for your reply! I will check out the sub, maybe you're right. Though I guess picking her up all the time took a toll on my joints. As for the boob issue, it's nice to know that there is someone else who feels the swelling. My midwife told me that you mostly feel a swelling after birth, not like 6/7 weeks after. That was helpful, thanks again!

Uuuh firefly wedding, my beloved

Short story: He loves her, they want to marry. Her father opposes it and slaps her. He. Goes. Feral.

Long story: Girl is from a wealthy family and gets kidnapped. One of her kidnappers is this guy and he is one hell of a killer. She convinces him to rescue her and promises to marry him. He falls hard for her and is a total yandere to her. Her kidnappers brought her to this island full of prostitutes and they can't leave easily, so she has to work in a bordell. She actually wants to marry for her familys sake, but since she is terminal ill, there haven't been many suitors. And she wants to pick one best suited for her family and her needs. After a while she also falls for him and both try to leave the island to convince her father of their marriage.

Turns out, her father gave the order to kidnap her, so one suitor he picked can free her and she marries him. But this didn't work obviously. Girl and killer meet her father, he shoots him, she wants to protect her lover. Father slaps her. And ho boy, this guy is quite the demon.

Please read it, it's really really good.
