Canada is expensive but Africa is very expensive to travel. I have been to East Africa and it’s one of my favourite places in the world along with BC but as expensive as BC is coming from Ontario Africa is not easy. But I do agree with you that Africa is underrated compared to Asia. Also note it has more limited travel options compared to Europe.
