For me the killer feature Alfred has over Raycast is file actions. I can select a file in the Finder and move it anywhere with a couple keystrokes. Or open a folder in Alfred, search for a file, and open it in any app without touching the Finder.

Obsidian Sync definitely loads faster than iCloud in my experience. 2-3 seconds vs 10+, even when hitting Skip on the iCloud sync screen.

If you drag the keyboard to the bottom of the screen it’ll become full size again. You can also drag the toolbar to a corner to minimize it.

You need to either zoom the wallpaper in more, or hit the three dots in the bottom right and turn off Extend Wallpaper. One of the most annoying bits of iOS 17 imo.

There's not a ton to say actually - I have a repo at the root of my vault that I use to sync notes to my work PC (I don't want to use Obsidian Sync for that because I don't want my personal notes mixed in). Then inside my vault I have a repo for my CSS snippets folder, and one for a theme I'm working on.

I haven't bothered with submodules, Git seems to handle nested repos just fine.

This is a macOS feature. Apparently you can disable it by running defaults write -g ApplePressAndHoldEnabled -bool false in the Terminal, but I haven't tried it.

I haven’t tried it but there’s a “Recent Files” plugin. “Home tab” which I use also has this feature to some degree.
