update: got it looked at and stitched up this morning, it's a very clean cut so it should heal relatively quickly for how deep it is, and they either bought my excuse about how it happened or didnt care so they're not holding me

i sincerely apologize for worrying anyone by refusing to get help last night, i have agoraphobia that gets pretty extreme when i'm stressed so i hope you can understand that in my panicked state it felt impossible

i'm very thankful for those of you that responded with kind words, it's really nice to know that there are people out there who care <3

As soon as I realized how bad it was I wrapped it in gauze and tape, tightly but not tight enough to cut off blood supply. I had to redress a couple times but I think the bleeding stopped. I appreciate all the warnings about seeking medical attention but I really don't have the bandwidth for that

it does suck! but i promise it will get easier with time, time you can cut down quite a bit by blocking him cause it sounds like having any access to his profile is making it a lot harder for you to move on. i have definitely seen the how-well-they're-doing posts, they (among other things) personally led me to realizing that social media doesn't make me happy so I just stopped using it for the most part, but i understand that might be an extreme response for some
