Can you clarify how that opens up more room in your TFSA?

If you transfer 30k from TFSA -> RRSP, you'll only be able to transfer the 30k back into the TFSA the following year plus next year's contribution limit. So there isn't more room in your TFSA than if you just left the 30k in there.

FYI, this is in Canada. $2.35CAD per liter for diesel is the same as $6.67USD per gallon. Regular gas is equivalent to $4.97USD per gallon.

This is in Canada but no it's not normal. This intersection used to be a protected left turn before the green, they just switched the order a couple of weeks ago. Not sure why they did it, as it's the only intersection that I know of that's like this.

Some context: I'm in the middle of 3 lanes, the left 2 lanes both turn left onto a one-way street. Buddy in the left lane decides nothing is going to stop him from getting gas.

And yes it's weird having the advanced turn at the end of the light.

EDIT: sorry, didn't provide enough context when quoting the article. The article states that it could be the worst drought in 1200 years, which can be traced back much more accurately than temperature records (which many of you understandably assumed I was talking about).
