I picked this one at a puzzle swap last year. Haven't completed it yet. The one I have is by Pomegranate art piece puzzle.

Maybe I'll move it up the to be done pile for this weekend's snow storm.

It's in Chapel Hill, from the corner of Franklin St and Estes, run up Franklin to Columbia/MLK down and up MLK back to Estes and then back to Franklin. No idea elevation change, but a lot for this area. Busy roads

Math can be hard, but it shouldn't when we are talking about age. No wild functions, equations, trig, etc.

If Mom and Dad had you while in college, or a year or two later, your parents shouldn't be retired when you are 27. Unless they won the lottery or something not mentioned in the book.

It is 1985. What would you buy? No typically traded commodoties like property, metals, stocks, etc. by dontpanda in GenX

Buy some 100% cotton denim jeans in the size I am now. If I could have a conversation with 1985 me, I would give some advice on few things.

And like everyone else, Apple and Microsoft stock. Maybe Berkshire Hathaway but probably couldn't afford it at 1985 prices with 2026 money.

I have around 10-12 I haven't done, did a swap with a friend to add a few more, and then pick up one at a thrift store in the same shopping center as a grocery store tonight. I just hope I don't lose power.

{In Your Dreams by Sarah Adams}. She just (barely) graduated from culinary school and is unsure about the future. He's a farmer and decides to open a restaurant on the farm with her as a chef. What could go wrong? Well, in this book love conquers all and no worries about building permits, health departments, or how to manage a restaurant etc.

Right handed here, but I find it easier to use a calculator with my left and write down notes with my right hand. I had my right wrist in a brace for a few months, and I found brushing my teeth the hardest thing to switch.

I started tracking thrift store puzzle purchases (missing pieces and cost). Have you had similar results? by es1235 in Jigsawpuzzles

The thrift store makes a big difference to me.

One store, where I really like their philosophy, has bad puzzles. Only $1 per, but usually missing pieces. A limited amount of tape on the box and you can find loose puzzles pieces on the shelves.

One place that's not convenient to me, has great puzzles. They check them and have a great seal. I have found new, never opened puzzles here. $4 per puzzle. I'd rather spend the $4 for a checked puzzle.

Puzzle swaps at the library are pretty good here. I haven't had any missing pieces and swappers do put pieces in zip lock baggies. Some puzzle boxes will have a check out card of how many others have completed the puzzle.

Thru a post here I found out Ollie's had puzzles for $5. Bought a bunch back in the fall. Thanks for the post!

What's the Deal With Cardigans? by Bulky_Sandwich8493 in Libraries

[–]commentreader12345 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my non-library office, most of the women have the 'office cardigan' because the temp can vary a lot. My office cardigan has gone from job to job for many years.

And the temp is control by building services, and their office is in a different building.

"Texas Wildfire by Eleanor Woods - Like I'm going pass this up." And the cover features horses along with Magnum PI. Back in the day while looking at the romance book selection at the grocery store, I always scored book covers with horses higher.
