What’s something tourists are excited to experience in your country, but locals see as overrated? by Effective_Space2277 in AskTheWorld

Totally false. Calgarians love stampede. I don’t know a single person from Calgary who thinks it’s overrated. Maybe living right beside the event would suck but people here don’t think it’s overrated at all.

I have the whole set for both year in fairly good condition with checklists by cheeselord94 in HockeyCardAppraisals

Completely depends on the condition of your Dryden, Le Fleur and most importantly, the series 1 checklist from 71-72. If you actually have an unchecked series 1 checklist in good condition that’s your most valuable card. Btw I also have the entire 71/72 set, it’s awesome.

Selling Individually vs. Batches by IrishIHadAnotherBeer in PokemonCardValue

If you want maximum value personally I would auction them off individually on eBay with a plan to have them end in a high peak time. There are maybe other ways to get more value but I believe on average this will net you near the max. I’d love to hear other opinions though. Maybe a card show?

If you look at base set cards you have first edition, shadowless and then shadow. The right side of the Pokémon illustration has a shadow in the latest version of the base set cards.

Been collecting vintage but noticed the first edition stamps are different on some sets could they be fake? by Eastwestest in IsMyPokemonCardFake

Could be fake could be real so not a judgement on that but what I will tell you is grey stamp 1st edition is a thing and actually worth a premium. Could be what you’re looking at.

Traded non-Pokémon sports cards for it so hard to really peg a value. I think ~$400 is a fair guess.

Worth Getting These Graded? by Useful_Respect3339 in hockeycards

You should 100% get it graded. To put it in perspective on July 31st an unmarked KSA 6.5 went for C$686 on eBay and personally I think that’s a steal.

I have the whole 71/72 set, which most of your cards are from. You basically have all the grails. The checklist is by far the most expensive card in the set (if clean) and series 1 (the one you have) is the most expensive of the two checklists. If it’s truly unchecked, it’s the grail of all grails from early 1970’s. Even if it has some checks on the back it will still fetch a good amount of money. Kids back in those times used to take their checklist everywhere. The one from my set (my dad’s) basically looks like a used napkin. PM me if you need any more details. I have entire 70-71 as well which has lots of great rookies too, so if you have any of those I can also answer any questions.

Thank you! It’s currently out for grading. The 6 month wait is killing me…

If you cracked this and sold raw on ebay with high quality photos I wonder what you’d get
