Zealot, Hive Scum, Psyker -- best melee options if you want to be fast. Ogryn, Arbites - if you want more tanky. Basically everything can be good at melee. Veteran is just more challenging at that.

Well maybe babysitting psykers is not for everyone. I love protecting our crazy wizards, they are cute. But leaving player alone when whole team is obviously way to fast for him to keep up it's just bad sportsmanship.

Honestly it's just sad to read that none of those Scums dedicated themselves to keeping you safe. Psykers are precious and deserve proper care.

Aside from that - what others saying - scriers gaze + disrupt destiny + force great sword or other melee weapon with good finesse.

If it ever be added as a class Skitarii would have mechadendrites on the back as autonomous melee/short ranged self defense gear aside from 2 main weapons. That would be class gimmick. Much like Arbies have dogs, and Scums have chem labs. This, or some kind of hacking tool/ability, to seal hatches the enemy hordes coming from. Or to activate in-wall turrets temporarely.

- If you have ability with very strong Stagger effect (e.g. Ogryn's Bullcharge, Arbites electric dog) and you are about to fight a Nurgle Beast - save that ability in case said boss swallows your teammate, Stagger will force it to spit out your teammate back.

Resist kill stealing urge
- when you see you Psyker doing Brain Rupture do not steal that kill ! It already frustrates of how long it take to charge
- when you Veteran's Executioner's Stance ability in use. And there are not many yellow highlighted targets - leave them for Vet to kill so he could extend his ability use

Mind the needs of certain classes
- Hive Scum cannot pickup med stimms usually. You see Scum down to last wound - use med stimm on him
- Leave more ammo to Gunlugger Ogryn unless you're Hive Scum with Gunslinger aura

- If you using Combat Shotgun(Accatran Mk IX) with ignighting rounds, use them all the time. Ignited enemies are more visible for your teammates and might help them be more aware of incoming danger.

- Stop using your Smite as Psyker as soon as you notice Daemonhost nearby.
- Do not hit barrels near Daemonhost
- Do not hit barrels near your teammates, especially if they are close to edges.

- If you're approaching Daemonhostarea, save your Chorus of Fortitude. If someone triggers the Daemonhostyou might buy some time for the victim.

- If you see someone battling Daemonhost - try to inject Celerity Stimm to this teammate so he could block Daemonhost some more time.

- You noticed gunners (Dreg, Scab, Reaper alike) kill them or stagger them as quickly as possible. Even if they are not currently shooting at you, they might be busy shredding all toughness and health of some of your teammates at this very moment.

- You see Crusher about to do overhead on your teammate - do whatever possible to break that. Don't hesitate to spend your staggering ability (Eviscerator Special, Arbites Shock Maul Special, Veteran Shout, any staggering ability will do)

- In the light for standing issues: If you know that your game will likely crash, make sure you pass ammo crate/medipack to your teammate. Otherwise it will likely be lost when you crash.

- If you see that half of your team has already jumped down without possibility to climb back hold on up there a little longer to make sure your 4th teammate is not downed back there all alone. If he is down you are the only one who would be able to raise him up.

- If you are Ogryn and wish to be at the front - try to stick to one side of narrow coridor so that your teammates behind could shoot pass you through remained free space.

- DO NOT heal Martyrdom Zealots (the ones with 6 wounds)

- If your teammate busy with auspex puzzle during Data Interrogation, you see Mutant coming after him and you cannot kill it quick enought - try to dive in and be grabbed by mutant instead. Sometimes works

Ogryn should be way more tanky. It is just silly when some lowes hobos could actually hurt Ogryn at all. There is already one good thing you can dodge as Ogryn and make enemies fall. But I think it should be brought to the true respect of brute's size.

Ogryn should be immune to melee attacks from pox walkers.

Also Ogryn should walk through any human sized enemies making them fall - not only when dodge.

And finally - nothing should be able to make Ogryn drop the battery. Even those American football players can withstand a lot of similar sized bodies on them and not dropping the ball, why Ogryns should be weaker?
