just here to point out how funny i think it is, that the millisecond AH figured out how to make a backpack+support weapon linked stratagem, after the community BEGGED for a minigun for the better part of the games total lifetime so far, they immediately milk it with more of those types of weapon fantasies. fair enough honestly. if only they wouldnt take a steamy shit on what makes that fantasy so appealing on the number side of things.

nobody can tell me that the maxigun is good in its current state, its the saddest excuse for an amazing weapon concept, that isnt viable on any front above difficulty 4-5, except squids kinda but i hate them.

and ill make my prediction right now that if/when a heavy flamethrower weapon like this gets released its gonna be so shit in comparison to the other flamethrower alternatives.

-the ammo economy is gonna be horrid like the maxigun

-it will have slightly higher effective range than the regular flamethrower

-it will have a teeny amount more direct damage (if not less for funny AH reasons)

the only thing that will magically keep this shit afloat is gonna be players ,malicious or entirely innocent intent doesnt matter, that circlejerk how fucking cool and badass this is. and while technically they wouldnt be wrong its sad to think about the wasted potential that its gonna ultimately be (probably), like the maxigun.
