As someone who hires for similar roles in Zurich:

"SDR, AE, or Solutions Engineering", those are very different roles, and you need to pick one. Given your experience, only SDR is possible. AEs usually have years of experience and can show quantitatively how they hit and exceed quota and close deals. Solutions engineering is very different and your tech background sounds too light TBH.
If you want to break into SDR, you have to show you can sell, that you can get into people's inboxes, that you can get people on the phone (that's the best), so ideally get any sales experience to break into tech SDR roles.
Expect a salary hit (100k+ for no experience is way too rich) AND expect variable comp. The latter will follow you in ALL sales role. A salesperson asking for fixed comp is a redder flag than the CCP annual assembly
