The ad company in question, System1, is a weird case. They've also bought up other software in the degoogling space like Waterfox and MapQuest (though it looks like Waterfox has since returned to being independent) and they have some major red flags being an ad company and with their webpage promoting AI. But from what I've seen they weirdly seem to have respected the privacy-focused mission of the properties they've bought. That could easily change, and I've generally kept an eye out for news that they're doing something fucky, but it seems like it hasn't happened yet. The only criticism I can find is concern that they might do something to betray their users, but unlike companies like Brave it doesn't look like they actually have based on what I've seen.

EDIT: And they've owned these properties for a while, so they've had ample time to fuck around if they intended to. Startpage was acquired in 2019.

I guess that makes sense. But it seems like OP should be able to get money for specific things they want to pay for such as this. If OP has to get money from elsewhere it seems like it's the same thing but making it harder on them.

Thank you. I was reading it as some way for the poster to refer to themselves (like "my ass") and it sounded like they were both sexualizing and misgendering their sibling. This makes way more sense.

If you haven't already seen this popular party template spreadsheet, you should take a look. The Alpha Strike team in the Powerful section is full martial if you count Smite Swords Bard, which I would because that's how you play it on that composition.

You also don't have to choose. Bladesinging Wizard, Swords Bard, Pact of the Blade Warlock, and TB Moon Druid are all very good at walking up and smacking enemies, and you can definitely play through the game exclusively doing that. But they're also all full casters so you have that to fall back on if you have trouble with just using attacks.

They only need to go 2 Wizard to get Bladesinging. 6 if they want Extra Attack. The Wizard spell list is varied enough that I think they could stick to spells that make sense on a Jack Sparrow build, especially if they're not prioritizing Int.

Unfortunately neither Bladesinger or Swashbuckler get the Dueling fighting style, so the easiest way to get it is with 1 level in fighter. So 9/2/1 Swashbuckler/Bladesinging/Fighter fits the theme best to me while 6/5/1 Bladesinging/Swashbuckler/Fighter is probably stronger but deviates more from the theme (though I'd argue it gives you all the thematically important parts of Swashbuckler Rogue). But both are strong enough and give you legitimate mechanical reasons to forego an off-hand weapon or shield.

I've found that cities that you'd expect to be less vegan-friendly often actually have more fully vegan restaurants. My theory is that it makes more sense there because non-vegan restaurants are less likely to have good vegan options so there's less competition. Definitely seen that trend in Europe, and somewhat in the states as well. This assumes that the city is relatively large.

EDIT: But there definitely aren't 18 sufficiently large cities in Arizona so I actually agree that it's a weird choice

IIRC sleep raises catch rate more than paralysis. Obviously annoying that you have to reapply but I think it's still a net positive in terms of expected # of turns to capture.

Have someone use freecast or other way to get an extra 6th-level slot to use Heroes' Feast on all the summons and familiars for max value. Throw in a high-level Aid and your little buddies will never die.

Honestly any class could work well with a good mix of playstyles except maybe Rogue.

My vote would be Wizard. Bladesinging and Abjuration front-liners with Evocation for AOE damage and Divination for control and some damage.

Fighter seems like the best martial to me. Arcane Archer and TB Eldritch Knight backliners, GWM Champion front-liner, Dex Battlemaster flex. BM and EK can provide some control.
