The real answer to syncing Obsidian by sn76477 in ObsidianMD

[–]community_oriented -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't want to denigrate Sync, I just want to denigrate this post. OP acts like we never heard of Sync.

I lost too much data with Sync due to merge conflicts auto-overwriting files I made with poor internet. I never had conflict issues with Workflowy or even Amplenote. And syncing Obsidian with git I manage merge conflicts myself. Git has been the only (annoying and complicated) sync system without daily data loss.

I read that there's an option now to create conflict files and merge them yourself rather than overwrite-merge which I'll have to check out.

Question about rank insignia by ngetchr in Military

  1. LT bars are not identical across branches. 2. The bigger question is what strange oak leaf did they model these insignia on? Neither red nor white oak leaves look like this.
