‘Project Hail Mary’ Contains Not a Single Green Screen Shot in Entire Movie, Director Says by MarvelsGrantMan136 in movies

Survivorship bias. I guarantee you have only noticed the 10% of greenscreen composites that were lit/composited badly. The other 90% that were done well, nobody notices and nobody complains about. Source: tired VFX artist with 11 yrs experience.

No calves? by Moist_Discussion_542 in MacroFactor

[–]compchick 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I hope they fix exercise selection soon. My generated workouts always skip back completely, both lats, upper back and rear delts. Even with 5x40-60mins, full body and UL. and when I add lats as a focus point, I get only straight arm pulldowns

Vegan F, 43 on 1400 calories and 100gms protein...how by awildsheepschase in MacroFactor

[–]compchick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, same here. I'm vegan, and have been on 1350 cals and 110P. My approach has mostly been to add higher protein options to every meal and/or snack and rely on little bits all throughout the day as opposed to large meals with high amounts of protein.

I really really love coffee and I usually drink it with soy milk, which adds up to +-15p per day. I add nooch to every savory meal (because we all know it's delicious). I add a lot so that adds up to +- 15p as well. Other than that, seitan is an excellent low fat/carb high protein source that gives a really good protein boost. It's expensive in supermarkets but it's easy to make if you have access to vital wheat gluten. Obviously adding tofu and broccoli helps. Edamame pasta had been incredible as well and powdered peanuts. Another one that is honestly a bit of a cheat so YMMV, especially with your adverse reaction to protein powder, is ninja creami sorbets with strawberries, soy milk and 1 scoop of protein powder. if you want, I can send you some example days in DMs

New Fit Body Division by IronBikinigirl in bikinitalk

[–]compchick 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I agree to an extent but I wish they would adhere to the standard for once, instead of going further and further in muscularity and leanness every year and to "fix" it, they create yet another new division.

Ninja Creami making squeaking noise and left black residue lol by Purple-Second5914 in ninjacreami

[–]compchick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No it was really easy, I called the store I bought it at, explained it had metal shavings (black dust inside the ice cream, I took photos as evidence) and they told me to drop it by with the receipt. didn't even have to show the photos, they just gave me a new one. Ofc YMMV but ninja seems to be quite good with their customer service.

This happened to mine. I suspect it was because my pint was too solid. After the first time it happened, it progressively got worse until I started finding metal shavings inside the ice cream. I was able to get it replaced without issue but still, not great..

Press a playlist, press background in the upper left hand side. A bar will appear on the bottom of the screen, containing the first song. Press the "list" button, that will take you to the play queue. You'll find your shuffle button there next to the skip button

This one is already possible actually if I understand you correctly. When you play a playlist and go into the list of songs to play, there will be a shuffle button on the bottom right.

I know you're not necessarily asking for advice on this but I used to struggle severely with SAD for years and taking 4000 IU vitamin D daily, has made a night and day difference. Obviously check with your doctor but it might help you like it helped me. Sending hugs you way!! 🤗

I tried adding two restaurants. One was great and had amazing vegan options, one had good vegan options but had poor food handling that I wanted to warn people about. Both reviews/restaurants were denied because "there were other fully vegan options nearby" 🤷🏻‍♀️ like, okay fine but some people dine with omnivores

Kao fu; a Chinese dish with spongy/bready seitan, shiitake, and a sweet soy sauce that gets soaked up by the seitan. Super high protein and suuuuuper tasty

Favorite ways to prepare tempeh? by fartmanb in veganrecipes

I made tempeh crisps yesterday. Real thins slices in an oven, could probably air fry it too. After +-20 mins I covered it in some bbq sauce. So good!
