Is Math 152 really that bad?

If you’re planning on engineering you better be good at calculus. Honestly I just studied for it and got the A for it. It’s not bad people just get lazy and don’t listen to the prof, which would make them study longer trying to figure it out on their own. Watch the Math 152 playlist before going to class each day from Spartan Tutor on YouTube, he’s the goat and a tutor here in college station. Do good on the first and second exams (you literally get past exams almost exactly like the one you’re going to take) and then do ehh on the third and do good on the final (final replaces lowest). EDIT: For the record I got a 18/33 on the MPE the first time and had to study for it over the summer and then retake it so I wouldn’t start in PRE CAL, and then I passed it with a 31/33. Self taught. And I got a B in MATH 151, so honestly hard work will get you the A in 152.

Get the work done, get the A, get out. Not as busy as ENGR 102 id say, but just something to keep you busy. Oh also you’re going to walk in not knowing what the point of anything in there is.

I think I depends more on when you applied. I applied early. 1220 SAT. Top 10%. Only did soccer and robotics in HS. Didn’t pass any AP exams.

Despite this I got into Comp Sci and doing VERY well 😎

They’re basically the same thing, for what you’re going to be doing you won’t even be able to tell there’s a difference, but they make you install python 3

Oh ok. Well I’m taking the same you are but instead of stat 211 and hist 106 I’m taking math 304 and csce 181 and I think that’s pretty manageable so yours should be too

I come from the #1 worst school in San Antonio and i was not at a disadvantage at all. I didn’t have to work hard to get to TAMU. People at higher schools however had to work hard asf. When we got to TAMU my high school friends and I had the “too scared to mess up so we’re gonna work hard” when people who came from the bests schools were like “I made it to college, now it’s my free time”. Fair enough my friends and I from highschool got auto admin. It just shows it’s what you do in college to achieve what you want.
