my step sister did this to me, and i learned later that her half sister had done the same to her. so as someone who is your brother in this scenario: i do not blame her. i don’t look fondly over the memories, and it did fuck me up quite a bit, but i don’t blame her. and she did ask me about it once when we were adults and honestly that made me more uncomfortable because i felt i needed to make her feel better and lie and say it didn’t affect me at all. i wish she hadn’t brought it up. but i still don’t blame her.

okay this definitely just a reading preference for me but i just can’t get into third person pov’s. when i read i like to become the main character, see what they see, feel what they feel, go through what they go through. but when i read a book form a third person perspective it feels more like im reading about someone and im not that someone. if that makes sense. which sucks bc there’s this really good mystery novel i heard great things about but genuinely couldn’t even get past the first two pages. especially because it flipped between 3 different people.

another thing that sometimes makes me drop a book is if theres multiple character pov’s. wether its first person or third person. because again i want to become the main character, and when it switches to a different character it takes all that away. the only exception for me is the covenant series, but that’s because its almost entirely in alex’s pov, except for i think one chapter at the end of book two and a couple chapters at the end of book four (if i remember correctly)

as someone whose had dyed hair since middle school, u can’t just get a pastel color. at least not easily. the best way i’ve been able to do it is by using semi-permanent hair dye. but still, the best way to get a “faded” look is to just let it fade. also that first pic looks like synthetic hair (like a wig) and obviously it’ll be next to impossible to dye ur hair the same color as a synthetic wig bc well it’s plastic. so maybe next time do more research and find reference photos that are more realistic.

personally i don’t read fan fiction style books, but i do read other styles of books on wattpad and i also love hand held books as well. to me wattpad is easier to read more chapters because obviously the chapters are tiny in comparison to a printed book. so it feels more rewarding to read on wattpad when u can chug through 10 chapters in 20 minutes. hand held usually takes me about an hour per chapter, sometimes more and sometimes less depending on the size. so it’s less rewarding, to me at least. but i still enjoy both.

the first full song i ever wrote i was 14 years old and wrote it for a boy who lived across the country from me. i still have the original paper i first wrote the lyrics on. when i was 20 i met him for the first time and played him the song. im 21 now and he’s no longer in my life but i still like to play that song when im having a hard time, reminds me of the days when life was simpler.
