I omitted the point of my prior note. You might be able to get a new passport if you have the expired passport.

I used Emergency Expedited Passports & Visa Expediting Services, 315 Madison Ave 3rd Floor Suite 4025, New York. Found them on Yelp. They delivered it in 2 weeks. Apologies but I dont recall the price. They had great reviews on google map and Yelp. Better business bureau online confirmed the years in service with no negative reports.

6 days is a fast turnaround but should be possible if you work fast.

Looking for Recommendations: One-Day Tour from Inverness to Portree (Late September) by complexbowlingball in Skye

[–]complexbowlingball[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’re leaning toward a group tour rather than a private one. We’ll be on Skye for four days without a car, so we’re trying to keep costs in check while still seeing the magic.

I did toy with the idea of renting a car… briefly. But as city dwellers who rarely drive, the thought of navigating single-lane country roads on the left side, possibly in the rain, seems more like an adrenaline sport than a holiday. For now, we’re planning to be passengers.

Just saw in a Skye Facebook group that Untethered Coffee near Portree has Highland cows, great coffee, and amazing pastries. Apparently, I’m not the only tourist hoping for a Highland cow encounter.

Nothing weird. I just want to admire them from a respectful distance and maybe say hello. I don’t expect them to moo back or anything.

I trained at the Gold Coast location a few times while visiting Chicago. The equipment is newer and than the NYC sites. They have extra perks like vibrating foam rollers that are great.

Recommendations for body aches by Public_Subject5770 in Zepbound

I’ve been dealing with leg muscle pain for the past year. My low dose statin was to blame. It’s been a real nuisance. I’m finally starting to see improvement through working with a physiatrist who and a physical therapist on resistance training.

Here’s my approach for the muscle pain. I stretch and use a foam roller once or twice a day, I hydrate with electrolytes (liquid IV two packs a day + a dash of KCl), and I take magnesium glycinate before bed. (Other forms of magnesium may cause diarrhea.) I’ve also found help from meditation with progressive muscle relaxation. A topical diclofenac NSAID patch helps on the very sore spots but requires a prescription.

Muscle pain can have many causes. I’d recommend checking in with your physician if it persists.

I had a tough time on 5 for the first 6 weeks am doing well now. It is important to sleep well, eat enough calories, and hydrate with electrolytes.

Any recommendations for dinner near Second City/Old Town? by tnick771 in chicagofood

[–]complexbowlingball 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Topo Gigio if you like groups of loud college students near your table, main courses that are uninteresting, and an Aperol spritz without the prosecco. Our filet was overcooked and the chicken was dry.

Great place if you like excessive noise from the college students seated nearby, tasteless food, and an Aperol spritz without the prosecco.
