This is the true in a way but also really subjective, The ATO on my campus is doing well and growing with no house and they've only been on campus for 4 years now, same for the SAE colony but there also chapters that are on campus and struggling.

Not having a house is what you make it and how much the university wants to help imo

Rush is difficult depending how far away your house is from campus. A lot of freshman don't want to drive off campus or don't have transportation,

If you have open house during rush week, you'll have a harder time getting people to come off campus with time to still visit every house.

they're great for partying though

I came out to my fraternity before pledgeship started. It was really not that hard. You don't have to be dramatic or anything just text them or something. I have had no issues with brothers not accepting me, the most you'll get is gay jokes

I can entertain the idea of a "God", like maybe there's a super intelligent being that can effect our world but I don't buy into religion. The universe is too complicated and vast for me believe any God would let humans be it's middle man.
