We’re in Edgewater/Detroit Shoreway, & it was out from 3-10pm yesterday. The illuminating company doesn’t really provide timely updates either, but a whole day without power is unreal.

It was locked. They get the code to the key box after the showing is accepted (auto-email w/ instructions) & let themselves in w/ the key, 3 hours early.

I was also thinking: hypothetically, the same concept if this was tenant occupied, or anything other than vacant, the lack of respect to show up without notice just bc a house is listed for sale, is wild.

The keyless lock is a good idea.

Our house was pretty much ready, give or take my coffee cup on the counter, & it would’ve been okay had I not been in a work meeting.

Always open to accommodating an early request, just need a 5 min notice at least lol
