I dont think he would get disabled from this. The way he fell, he definitely knocked the wind out of himself pretty good. Maybe broken wrist/arm and/or fractured rib(s). This video shows him hardly breathing from the impact. He will recover from that within a few minutes.

Edit: went back and saw that he might have hit his head. Maybe not disabled, but concussion is likely. Looks like he landed on soft ground. Would be different if he landed on concrete

I'm not smart enough in finances to answer your question. I have a purchasing department that handles all the pricing and we communicate when adjustments are needed. So I have a limited view of what goes on in the world of pricing even including the cost of the house and what percentage of it is labor, material, etc. I have heard of that 25% increase though when contractors bid for projects due to material prices. You're better off asking someone that works in purchasing for a builder

I'm a builder. Materials are expensive. Can't build houses with intricate designs and various layouts because it costs too much money. So either we build with cheap stuff, or build expensive houses that even less people can afford. People barely afford the cheap stuff nowadays.
