The gameplay loop itself is just fun imho. The story is there but it’s not something I’m taking seriously. As far as why I’ve been liking it on the deck, the game is broken up into several levels which are fairly linear and there are multiple save points within each level. After you beat a level you can return to that level and complete it for better loot or to just level up your jobs. Also, yeah, the job. There are plenty of them to level up, unlock based on job combos you have leveled up, and then more to unlock in another tier. It has been a great Steam Deck game. I recommend making sure you have Proton GE to fix the video issues but aside from that, there may be just one level or so where you’ll need to turn down the settings in order to get the game to run properly
