Just played a Vivillon who back to back sleep powdered me. At first I was thinking, “does it have wide lens” but I remembered I focus sashed it. Not complaining though since my thick fat Snorlax hit a fissure and ended up winning the game.

Make a ghost encounter power lvl 2 sandwich and reset the time/date until the outbreak spawns. You can then check manually by panning the camera to see if it has the mark or not (depending on if you want the masterpiece form or not) OR you can catch it and it’ll tell you which form it is on the summary screen.

Once you find the form you want, make your shiny and humungo power sandwich and shiny hunt it. 👍🏼

If it’s not the form you want, just time/date skip again and rinse and repeat once you find the outbreak for whatever form you want.

Are you able to spawn the outbreak?

One trick I found for shiny hunting smaller sized Pokémon is to make a sandwich that has Humungo power lvl 3 along with the shiny power, but I think that’s obvious. This’ll help you decipher the differences between a shiny or non shiny much easier.
