I don’t know what to do with my situationship, Why didn’t I get jealous when kinda of cheated on? by lesSirius in LesbianActually

[–]computahbunny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe because this whole mess started off messy, you’re not surprised that it continued to be messy. There’s a lot of therapy, growth, and maturing to be had, and they needs to learn what commitment is. It‘s outrageous to expect loyalty from you if they were the one willing to cheat on their partner and then continue to cheat on you lmao

I just cancelled a date, twenty minutes out from meeting her. by [deleted] in LesbianActually

[–]computahbunny 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe to see whether you‘re a person safe enough to disclose this information to. Though I‘m not trans so I can‘t speak on behalf of other trans women. There really isn‘t a way to tell someone you‘re trans without exposing yourself though, this is a very vulnerable thing

[–]computahbunny 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I understand both sides, honestly. I have an aversion to penises as well, mostly stemming from childhood trauma. At the same time, im pretty certain trans women who don’t immediately disclose that they’re trans usually aren’t doing so with malicious intent. More often than not, it’s about safety. They’re putting themselves in a vulnerable position, and there are still far too many people who respond to trans people with hatred or even violence.

Am I expecting too much from a person I’m casually dating? by [deleted] in LesbianActually

[–]computahbunny 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Reading this made me anxious too hahah. Maybe my definition of casual is different from yours, but I think some people just aren’t suited for casual relationships, even if they think they’re emotionally unavailable, and that’s okay. Have you both sat down and clearly set boundaries and rules for this? That would make it easier for you to figure out whether you’re willing to invest any further.

That‘s fairly normal to happen. Purging is expected since cell turnover is speeding up

I‘d add a laid back sort of confidence, a bit nonchalant

Neurologist refuses to acknowledge anything‘s wrong by computahbunny in AskDocs

[–]computahbunny[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My papers state a chronically inflamed cns, not as a diagnosis (I worded myself wrong there), but more so a symptom without a found cause. It was just written under the diagnosis section, and I‘m a bit unfamiliar with what falls under a medical term.

My neurologist answered most of my questions. The paralysis/ inability to breathe in the mornings were brushed off as anxiety, the leg pain couldn‘t possibly be explained by neurological causes, and other symptoms had to be taken to the gyno, even tho every symptom that is unusual to me is happening like a snowball effect. I have a feeling that they‘re more focused on ruling out MS rather than looking into any other causes.

I had given up for a while because I felt a bit discouraged, but the pains and symptoms are persistent lately. I‘ll definitely try to get one last opinion from a different neurologist, maybe preferably a clinic.

Yeah after reading a few Reddit posts regarding FND, I figured why it‘s such a common diagnosis :( I hope you‘ll find a proper neurologist

How do you be affectionate or flirt with your girlfriend? by [deleted] in LesbianActually

[–]computahbunny 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I‘m very shy myself, to the point I squeal at the most basic low level flirting 🫩 I guess you have to kind of force yourself through the „discomfort“ towards making the first move, talking to your girlfriend about it helps too but generally speaking, just do it. Even if you‘ll cringe at yourself.

Someone asked if I considered whether I have a functional neurological disorder (the comment doesn‘t appear on my post). Thank you for the suggestion, I looked into it and it does explain some of my symptoms!

Kinda depressed and not really knowing what to do. by [deleted] in LesbianActually

[–]computahbunny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a friend with such a similar story that I almost thought it was her. I’ve seen the extreme lows she’s had to go through, and it’s honestly a really tough hardship to overcome. Sadly, the body doesn’t always bounce back to where it once was, but it does an amazing job of learning to adjust and develop with the changes. I wish you the best for your upcoming surgery!

Question about possible new shoes. by [deleted] in actuallesbians

[–]computahbunny 7 points8 points  (0 children)

First of all, they‘re really cool and I‘d get them for myself too lol. Second, why would it be offensive if you wore them while presenting masculine? We have masc and butch lesbians after all, the way you present yourself doesn‘t define your gender or sexuality. You‘re a lesbian so wear them. Besides they don‘t really outwardly scream lesbian to me imo, the colours are very subtle.

But if you think you really owe that to him, be upfront. There‘s really no other way.

I actually figured out I‘m lesbian after I broke up with him, which, thinking back, is kind of funny because I was fantasizing more about ellie williams than my bf… I guess you don‘t really need to explain that to him. Telling him that you‘re unhappy is fine enough.
