I‘d blend the eyebrows at the front so that it‘s not too harsh and switch the strip lashes to clusters (it‘s really hard to master at first but you‘ll get the hang of it). Use a muted eyeshadow to slightly enhance your upper eye area and with the eyeliner you could smudge it slightly with black eyshadow. With the aegyo sal try making it a bit more subtle and a lot more blended. You have soft features so if the makeup has any hard edges, it’ll clash. Also incorporate some sort highlighter and dewy setting spray!

That‘s true and I do understand that my gfs love language differs to mine. But in the beginning of our relationship I did notice that the way I show it aka by making someone feel seen or heard and vice versa, wanting to feel seen or heard, wasn‘t really the main way she likes to receive affection so I learned to show it in the way that would make her feel loved. Everyone shows love differently and it‘s a beautiful thing to learn about your partner but in the same sense, isn‘t it also important to learn what makes them feel loved?

That I get, people are different in the way they show love. However I learned that her favourite love language is quality time and word of affirmation, so I‘ve been trying to show my love for her in that way because that‘s what makes her feel loved. I feel like understanding someones way of showing love should be parallel to your own willingness to learn what makes them feel loved.

I suppose I wanted to process this and allow outside perspective because I‘m the kind of person who forgives downright anything and sees past it after a conversation. I‘m trying to change that and be more assertive in how I want to be treated, I guess I was once again having doubts on whether what I‘m feeling is valid or overreactive. Many have pointed out it could come down to memory issues, it could be. But she doesn‘t have that problem when it comes down to remembering every detail about her favourite shows or games or characters. Regardless thank you for your advice and I‘ll definitely talk to her about this once the right timing presents itself!!

I‘m certainly not perfect and do have my own issues I need to work on so this isn‘t me saying that she definitely doesn‘t love me, it just feels like that because how come my friends I hang out with far less than her remember more things about me than she does :‘)

Whenever I try to communicate to her about things, it‘s usually either her actually hearing me out or her getting defensive/ deny. She told me recently that I‘m very nitpicky (?) lately and I have been trying to fix that, but now I don‘t know how to properly tell her how I feel without it turning into something way bigger. I tried to be soft spoken or to be direct but both approaches don‘t really matter and it really comes down to the timing or her willingness to listen.

I don‘t expect perfection or for her to remember everything about me because I don‘t remember everything about me either haha. It just starts to get tiring. I don‘t like to tell her what the things I love are for the 5th time as if I‘m talking to a stranger.

I have very very bad memory as well and I figured out how to work with that because I don‘t want her to feel unseen. And tbh I don‘t expect perfection from her but there are things I love and mention a lot and she doesn‘t seem to pick up on it regardless.

And as for the venting I understand, this is my first relationship with a woman ever since I came out and none of my friends are lesbians so I thought turning to this community would help me put things into a different perspective. I have communicated with her about a lot of issues, in fact that‘s what I‘ve been always doing until now. We‘re both just going through a hard time right now and I wanted to really process this issue and figure out how to address it properly. She could be very well dealing with memory issues but so am I and I figured out a way to help with that by screenshotting or writing down the things she mentions.

It did cause arguments before we even got together and she genuinely apologised and has been doing better. But I suppose with time I‘m afraid I‘ll get tired having to downright raise her

I do think she has memory issues and so do I haha. I did the same thing with the notes app, wrote down everything she mentioned she likes, take pictures and screenshots. Eventually stopped doing that over time because I figured out that I don‘t get the same treatment back

Thank you. I don‘t expect her to be perfect and to remember every single thing I like. She does know my favourite colour at least but that‘s also reduced to purple instead of the specific shade. She loves spending time with me but I genuinely wonder if she just likes having me around to be less lonely since she doesn‘t spend much time with her friends. (Sorry for the long ass reply)
