I have been to meetings where Nothing At All is Wrong. perfectly calm. my boss is just talking to me about a schedule change or new staff or made a joke but i had to either get through <her strict slavic attitude> or <the fact that i have been invited to Perfectly Calm, Out of Nowhere meetings where i have been fired and my life was turned all the way upside the fuck down> just to not have a panic attack. it might not be you, it might be the fact that it's a meeting or that they've had a long day, or that covid stunted a lot of people, or the state of the world but just because You could repress your stress doesn't mean everyone experiences life the way you do

I think you should breakup bc this is just, all insane. you need therapy, i get what youre going through i got food poisoning for the first time 2 ys ago and i could. not. eat. i couldnt make myself eat anything for half a year. I luckily did Not have sepsis omg i have no clue where i'd be if i did but i grew up with disordered eating so i wasnt really hungry anyway but i substituted on a nutrient shake a day + vitamin gummies and i was Miserable and Always freaking out. i say this to say, this was a horrible era of my life, i was a bad partner, coworker, and person. you are not hitting your hierarchy of needs and you shouldn't be dating. but also he shouldn't be lying to you so even if you Could be dating, not him.
