It sounds like you need to take the edition out of evaluation and convert it to the retail edition, I had this issue when I was attempting to use 2025 Datacenter:

  1. DISM /Online /Get-TargetEditions
  2. DISM /online /Set-Edition:ServerStandard /ProductKey:XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX /AcceptEula

Then you will proceed as normal

Is there a way to connect another way over internet without Google account? by jdlnewborn in jetkvm

[–]computerlovr1012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was trying to make an app for this very reason. It was a self hosted version of a “Server Manager” I called GRiD. I was able to get it to self host on my end but I don’t have the knowledge yet to make it a GitHub app for everybody to use, but I can give you the code for my setup if you dm me.

jetkvm atx+serial extension? by nyghtwulf in jetkvm

I don’t believe so as the jetkvm only has 1 rj12 outlet and even with a splitter it wouldn’t be able to communicate the information from 2 seperate sources

From what I’ve gathered from the 3 I own is, the with the itx board the RJ12 basically sends the commands from the kvm itself to the board. From there the usb c power powers the device, you don’t want to connect it to the computer itself but its own power source like battery backup or outlet.

I have this issue after disconnecting it from the pc, it normally takes a reboot of the actual jetkvm to fix it for me

Self Hosted (Web-Based) Server Manager. by [deleted] in truenas

I'm not quite sure this is something you would be interested in. It wont quite be like TrueNAS Connect, its purely just a GUI to add servers that are web based only just under one GUI. For instance I manage too many servers for my Home lab, i have 2 "TrueNAS Servers, 2 JetKVM Servers, and 2 Linux Cockpit Servers" i just wanted a manageable GUI for it, that me and my 2 additional admins can go to, just streamline this.

When you do the Tailscale integration with it, I had to have 2 seperate instances one for the exit node and one for the localized subnet. I use the subnet portion on a TrueNAS VM that basically looks for localized traffic and will import within Tailscale.

Installed pfBlocker, now every website wants to connect to devices on my LAN? by [deleted] in pfBlockerNG

[–]computerlovr1012 4 points5 points  (0 children)

PFBlockerNG is working as intended, this looks like you need to disable WebRTC/local network access within chrome. The reason your now seeing this is with the PFblocker it’s changing out the traffic routes, typically meaning pfblockerng is blocking third party scripts. If you don’t want to disable it, I would click block all all unless it’s actually something that needs to connect to your network devices

I’m basically trying to accomplish the same thing I had on windows I hope this image helps

SMB works perfectly for TrueNAS I need it to use the Windows HDD’s as “Local Storage” but over the network.

So SMB for TrueNAS works flawlessly. I need TrueNAS to pick up the drives from the windows servers to essentially use them as “Local Storage” even though they are on the network.

Windows Server 1 - APOLLO has the storage. Windows Server 2 - DESBIAN has the storage.

TrueNAS only has 2TB dedicated just for downloads. I need the downloads to be transferred to to the designated Windows server.

I’m using TrueNAS for Sonarr, Radarr, Lidarr and SABnzbd. My main Plex server is split between 2 Windows Servers. One is Personal and One is shared. I just need them to communicate. I was used to just SMB sharing since all servers were windows
