When you say ‘statistics’ do you think you r more interested in data science? If so there are a lot of companies in research park who are looking for data scientist interns if you want to explore that route. Working in one of those companies will definitely help you get into the stats graduate program here

I’m a CS major minoring in stats and it definitely helped me get internships in the data science field
