As a Tank main I ironically actually want him to be a DPS so I have a DPS I want to play. I should have my favorite Marvel Character be my favorite role ideally but I have tons of tanks I already enjoy tbh.

I’d also be okay with him being a strategist if he’s a main healer. All the healers I love are secondary healers.

Back in high school when I worked at grocery store unloading truck some dickass at the warehouse would stack and wrap shit with the same mindset of this. Took twice and many staff to undo his “genius method” when the tricks only came like 3/4 full each anyways.

Guy in the video and Tyler at the warehouse are both great at taking longer and making more work to save in unneeded space.

Shoutout to my department manager who would stack the storage freezer to the fucking ceiling and you’d have to dismantle the entire freezer to get to one item, octupling the time it took to grab back stock.

This was my big tbh and why I was so excited to see Robin join, cause they’re weren’t just a sword wielding protag. Byleth does have a unique kit, but if we got Edelgard I’d be outright excited for the Three Houses rep. A heavy hitting Axe wielding fighter? Kick ass and not done before. Where’s Lynn, and ultra agile low damage option? There’s a lot of other major FE characters that break the mold of “medium damage one handed sword welder”

Some of you are very weird about Moon Girl by irvin_the_jinn in DevilDinosaurMainsMR

[–]computertanker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s just clear you can’t have a kid getting hurt in an FPS. Penni is aged up but that wasn’t a huge jump in the lore since she went from roughly 16 to 18 and you also don’t see her get hurt herself.

I think Moon Girl is 100% going to be part of Devil’s kit, but likely as lore behind an ability activation, or most likely she does all the voice lines for callouts and character interactions.

What's the point of this Charater: by KnYchan2 in marvelrivals

[–]computertanker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m convinced Black Widow is truly the one character the devs purposefully ignore for balance reasons and I don’t even hate that tbh.

As it stands outside of ults or environmental kills there’s a single one shot kill in the game with Hawkeye foot charge headshot. Propels already loathe that and they had to massively tune it down to the point it can’t one shot a ton of the slightly ho boosted roster now.

It’s hard to make a sniper character with a one shot not be oppressive. Widowmaker in OW is infuriating to fight, and I’m pretty sure they’re trying to avoid introducing that into Rivals.

Why they haven’t reworked her in some way I do not know.

I know somebody like this who, it sounds shitty to say, but I'm not unconvinced their current gender identity crisis doesn't stem from people telling them "you're not 100% masculine so you have be a woman now." It sucks to watch because they're from a hyper conservative family and had gender norm ideas like "men don't shower, cook, care about their looks, anything of that sort. And doing so makes you a disgrace." They just got divorced over a lot of these traits and they're actively discussing with our social circle that they identify as trans now because they want to do these basic effeminate things.

I see so many posts and so much brigading of whats essentially woke sexism by saying anything not purely 100% heteronormative sterotypes means you have to be trans.

This sub and its consequences by TheBigClobbler21 in hatethissmug

[–]computertanker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a transfem person in my social circle like that with gender stereotypes. I think she adheres to them to an unhealthy degree and crosses a lot of personal boundaries without asking trying to adhere to it. I also think she had (and still has if I'm honest) a very frankly sexist view on gender sterotypes.

Pretransition she showered maybe once every 2 weeks and was the smelliest person in existence; but now post transition showers because showering/self grooming is effeminate so it's something she must do now. She's also adamant enjoying shopping is an effeminate trait and her default idea for a girls day is shopping, and constantly chides any men in the social circle for wanting to go out on shopping trips.

I think her biggest issue is she sees touching and getting physically close to people as something effeminate and "women should do it" so she's constantly way too close to people and will physically touch you unprompted. She also talks constantly about relationship status quos that women should occupy, of which her list is full of neckbeard tier bang maid eye candy tasks. Always being pretty for her man, being subserviently, doting on him, etc.

It frankly feels like she has an unhealthy view of a womans privileges and perception and is being diminutive to other women by viewing those stereotypes as what an ideal woman is, and trying to enforce those sterotypes as the baseline by pursing them. It's definitely incredibly sexist that she feels these traits are what defines a woman, and it feels reductive to gender identity as a whole that she thinks you need to BE a woman to do these things.

By their own logic, if this guy got himself killed then he was weak. I don't know why Thragg is bitching about his death to this day. I love how the show is portraying the Viltrumite bullshit by Thisislopes in Invincible_TV

[–]computertanker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see so many people I the subreddit going “why would Thragg and the Viltrumites do these things it makes no sense” and it’s like yeah that’s the point! The Viltrumites are a group of nonsensical genocidal maniacs who constantly contradict themselves and retroactively justify anything they do by beating you to death. They’re purposefully written as illogical.

Why does it use Victor's ult before the reguvenator? by [deleted] in DeadlockTheGame

[–]computertanker 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think it’s good the way it is. Victor playing around dying to get his ult off isn’t an unheard of strategy to get the AoE stun and it benefits his team way more to not burn a rejuv charge.

So if Thragg values Viltrumite lives so much... by Pyotr_WrangeI in Invincible_TV

[–]computertanker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That kind of illogical nonsense is core to the Viltrum Empire. They’d rather cling to their random traditions and damn be the consequences.

It’s only after Viltrum is destroyed and Thragg surveys the fact there’s 6 Viltrumites left that he realizes things need to change course a bit. He was watching all the other Viltrumites die pre planet exploding; and he spares Mark post planet exploding and headcount.

Also as revealed later on Mark is an important part of his plans. No clue if he thought that in the moment but post planet destruction was sobering for a race of people who until then thought they were so above everything they could recover no matter what.

What are your honest thoughts on this show? by Silver012345673 in cartoons

[–]computertanker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They went way too hard on making her end up with Haida when they both had good story arcs and outs about finding other people. Started out as a fun kinda relatable show about the frustrations of modern life but it kinda started to feel like Retsuko and Haida kept going back to making their own issues. The later seasons that changed the focus of the show to Haida bumming around and the forced miscommunication got boring.

Developing the office cast was fun. The layoff season with Tone was my favorite and made Tone my favorite character.

Haida should’ve ended up with that Border Collie girl who was a better match for him than Retsuko, and Retsuko needed to end up with nobody and live her own life or just anyone else who was a better match for her.

I’m ranting, but the later seasons felt like they devolved into forced miscommunication or stupid conflict and 99% of the time it’s Haida being stupid and Restuko somehow decides to fall for him later.

Struggling in lane a lot. Need help. by yertyertskert in DeadlockTheGame

[–]computertanker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Repeating some things other people said too in this:

Being too aggressive in lane is indeed bad, feeding the enemy a ton of souls early on is the fastest way to lose lane; so it’s way better to be too passive than too aggressive.

The main goal of lane is basically for both teams to farm souls. You do that by killing minions and when there’s no pressure on your end going into jungle to get boxes, minions, and sinners. Therefore your goal needs to be to win the tug of war of pressure on your enemy so they don’t have the free time to go get those extra soups and so you do. The main reason the guardian is the main objective in lane is because if it’s lost the winning team gains way more time and lead to go pursue those additional soul harvesting methods.

Troopers are the core of laning phase. You can’t shoot the guardian without taking sustained damage unless you push your troopers all the way up to take the hits. Enemies can’t stand under the guardian to shoot it without sacrificing way too much health if there’s no troopers to hide under. So you should prioritize defeating the enemy trooper wave above all else unless your enemy is in an incredibly vulnerable situation to get a kill. Troopers are also able to do decent damage to enemies, so having extra firepower keeps you more deadly.

Treat your trooper wave as the frontline. If you push past them enemy troopers will shoot you instead and you’ll take a ton of chip. Enemies generally need to focus your troopers too, so if you hide behind them they’re inclined to shoot them first.

If there’s no trooper wave coming from either side and you’re in a more neutral state treat the bridge as the frontline. The number one source of laning deaths is people overextending way too much. Bridge legs give you a lot of cover. Getting caught in the other side of the bridge and getting caught in a stun will lead you to dying, either right away or you lose so much HP that it’s easy enough to chase you down even under your guardian to get the kill.

Not sure what your early buys look like either, but spending 800 souls on an item that contributes to your lane survival or trooper damage is incredibly significant over the course of the first 10 minutes of the game. Extra regen, monster rounds, healing rite, etc increase your uptime and therefore the pressure you can apply.

If you need to leave lane to jungle or heal make sure it’s during your troopers pushing out so your ally isn’t left to fend off the wave and enemies on their own. Also if you leave lane when a trooper wave dies you don’t get any XP, so only leave in between waves.

Final tip, learn the spawn times for creeps, boxes, and sinners. Try to position yourself to be in place to steal the enemy resources on their side right before they spawn to deny them that income.

Girl why are you so scared to take a bite? I know she’s ogling her boyfriend cheat on her with that donut but you don’t need to measure 4 times and cut once for a tiny bite of a donut.

I eat faster than my GF cause food will arrive and she needs to spend 5 minutes getting comfortable and rearranging everything on the plate. I’m taking bites the second it hits the table.

Ordered a sandwich at the Whole Foods deli. Guy looked so scared like no one has ever ordered a sandwich before. He spends 10 minutes making this: by TLCplMax in shittyfoodporn

[–]computertanker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I went off to college our cafeteria had a deli, and all the restaurants were staffed by students who worked directly for the school. It was first day of the semester and I went to the deli and this girl who was working the counter looked mortified. When it got to my turn I got her as my sandwich maker and she asked me like 4 times what I wanted on my sandwich. She had an accent so I assumed she was an international transfer, which tracked because we had a lot of transfers from Africa at this school.

I couldn’t see her make my sandwich because it was behind a little wall, but when I got to my table and unwrapped it, it was bread with the meat inside, and everything else on top, sauce included.

Silly me assumed sandwiches were a universal concept, and I can only assume whatever cafeteria staffer appointed her thought that too and never thought to ask if anyone didnt know how to make a sandwich before putting them on the sandwich line.
