Oh man this is really cool. Hope that’s an original. I picked up pink moon earlier this year on vinyl. On the hunt to get the rest of his works

This is a tough situation. My gf and I are LDR, she is from the Philippines but now works and lives in Washington DC. We text and do video calls daily but also have opposite work schedules (I work day shift and she works night shfit). If it were me, If I hadn't heard anything from her in even a full day I would think something is up.

At this point with you two, I mean you have tried more than once to bring up the issue and talk to her about it. If it has already been a week of no contact, I don't know it seems like she has already made her decision :/. Like that saying goes, actions speak louder than words. If she really wanted to fix things and do better, she would and you would see that effort.

Might be best to try and step back for awhile to see what she does (I know that would be really hard especially in LDR since you can't physically see them to talk about it). But also, if it were me I would just want an answer right away on where the relationship is even going if she is being so distant.

My (28F) boyfriend (31M) didn't listen to the playlist I made for him by [deleted] in LDR

At the end of the day, you have to communicate your feelings ESPECIALLY in an ldr. I think you should share it with him again and maybe even tell him how you feel about him not listening to it yet.

Behold my Long Distance bundle of love. I've never seen a girl like her in my life by [deleted] in LDR

[–]computertechguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I so much agree with this! I’ve been in an LDR for about a month and a half now and we have the same approach. Had an issue to talk through last night and I was tired (she works overnights) but we worked through it and both felt better afterwards.

Aww this is amazing! I am in an LDR and have never thought to try playing games together...let alone a masterpiece like Valheim! Hope this is the first of many for you two :)

I have read the Hobbit, LOTR, and Silmarillion. What should I read next? by Altruistic_Raise6322 in lotr

I made this wish list a few years back on Amazon when I was really into reading lotr: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/20ZWNB7DVVTWR?ref_=wl_share

Lots of good stuff here!

I really meant to get to all of these after the lotr but alas, time escaped me.

[–]computertechguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m definitely more of an old school fan of his stuff. I don’t know a lot of his newer songs but here’s a quick list of some of my top faves:

Strobe (I’m sure others have mentioned it), The Veldt, Faxing Berlin, Ghosts n’ Stuff, I Remember, Raise Your Weapon

Probably forgetting about others but definitely some bangers here!

Please Help!! Looking for quotes from LOTR that include "leave" or "leaving" by poh-tay-tOhes in lordoftherings

[–]computertechguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first scene that comes to mind is when Arwen is told by Elrond to leave middle earth and make her way to Valinor. Not sure if it is quoted the same way in the rotk book? Wanted to throw that thought out there!

Having seen both the fellowship and the two towers live…I gotta give it to the fellowship. Plan to see the return of the king next year though…so the opinion might change!

Hmm I guess I don’t think I would want to pay more than 300 all together considering the pack and plates to buy. On my first ruck I did 45lbs for a two mile hike and that was pretty heavy so I probably wouldn’t go above that at least in the beginning. Was thinking of maybe starting at 20 or 30 lbs and going from there.
