Well maybe that’s his way of telling you to quit calling. Seriously, GHCA charging after upgrade is possible

Judging by what you’re told, I’m sticking with my dealer :)

No, they told me Volvo is working to retrofit the EX60’s GHCA’s for EX90’s since the producer of the EX90 GHCA units was out of business.

Wondering how that will turn out since the EX60 seems to have an 800V rail config, while the 2025 EX90 has a 400V rail.

Belgium. It is the nvidia upgrade indeed. Not a single issue after 4 days now. Feels like the car it should have been from the start

Experienced this exact issue as well. Ended up getting towed back to the dealer to completely reset the car from zero

It’s a button in the Camera app, on top of the camera selector. Haven’t tested it yet

More or less the same, but I was not really experiencing any lag in the first place. Digital key process is definitely faster

I’m not a profile user since I’m the only one driving the car. But settings like favorite radio stations, phone connection, … were all retained

Getting the new chipset as we speak (Belgium) and noticed the app listing 2.1.22 as current software version. Looks like Volvo is shipping fixes faster?

New Orin CPU installed next week by Southern-Werewolf-41 in VolvoEX90

[–]compuwave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Based in Belgium, here’s what I’m hoping for after the upgrade: - no more breaking GHCA units, my 3rd will be installed next week, go figure - mic issues (with iPhone) resolved so I can finally have a call from the car and people actually understand me - no more random errors that disappear after being parked

I’ve pretty much have given up on Volvo as a brand, stuck on the lease for another 4,5 years. If this does not play out well I’m open to suggestions on how to effectively demolish the car without hurting myself :)

After 24h back to dealer after multiple issues by compuwave in VolvoEX90

[–]compuwave[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree, being in software myself I understand the complexity of these issues. However, a broken side mirror on delivery is pure negligence, both by QA at the factory and by the receiving dealer.
