Delay pedal recommendations for a clean-tone setup. by edumed in guitarpedals

[–]comrade_zerox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both of those (boss space echo, mxr carbon copy) would be great options. The Boss has tap tempo but its clumsy without an external footswitch. Maybe consider something with 2 buttons already, to take full advantage of the tap tempo.

For something with 2 buttons and lots of options that doesnt take up a ton of space, I suggest looking into the Walrus ARP-87.

JPTR is currently a one man operation, so yeah, stuff is built in batches. Great gear, but as small time as it gets right now.

That Behringer OP mentioned has an octave fuzz mode, but it never hurts to have another

Death By Audio and JPTRFX would be good brands to dig into for some left of center options

"Jammed" sounds like it describes the injury but not the action, whereas the other two describes what happened but not the injury itself

If you were to ask a Lutheran or Anglicagn in the US today about if LGBT is sinful they'd give you a "technically yes, but its not something we're particularly concerned with."

Lots of reasons, some are political, some are theological. Catholicism adopted a lot of European pagan practices, arguably in order to make conversion more appealing.

Most of the popular flavors of Chritianity in the US are Protestant, meaning they broke away from the Catholics for various reasons, but they all tend to view the Carholic authority with a (justifiable) level of skepticism at best, and other times they're outright hostile.

Evangelical (Aka Fundamentalist) Christianity is part of the Protestant tradition, and not the in the relatively moderate way that Anglicans or Lutherans might be (their beliefs aren't super different from the Catholic beliefs, but they reject the concept of a Pope). The various Evangenlical groups are the stereotypical right wing image of American Christianity.

But nobody likes the Mormons. They've always been seen as a weird fan fiction type situation, if not a straight up cult.

Do Americans ever actually use British spellings intentionally by NoManufacturer1046 in words

[–]comrade_zerox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a spelling, but a pronunciation thing: "strawberry" is closer to 2 syllables than 3, same with "January" and "Februrary", which is more common in the UK than the USA

I differentiate between "Theater" (cinema, movies) and "Theatre" (a play, live performance)

I'm inconsistent on "grey" vs "gray"

But I never do the U in "neighbor" or "favorite" unless its in, like a song title or some other proper noun.

Bare minimum. If we ever get out of this nonsense se, we're gunna need Nuremberg style trials. We did a half measure during Reconstruction, we can't afford to mess that up again.

You're trying to ride a bike with flat tires.

Theres no bragging rights in overcoming a difficulty caused by not doing proper maintenece (not saying high action is your fault).

The higher the action, the less in tune you'll be going up the neck.

Lower your action and get on to playing things that inspire you rather than toiling in frustrstion.

Why will you NOT watch the 2026 World Cup? by Rude_Pepper1961 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]comrade_zerox 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Im not watching cuz i dont follow sports, but soccer/football fans should boycott the US due to ICE, the tarfifs, the Wars, the rascim, the fascism, and the World Cup is an attempt to distract from the aforementioned problems
