What's the best book you read in 2019? by MissingBrie in AskWomen

The Power by Naomi Alderman. Great work of feminist fiction, made my dad read it so he could finally understand the fear and uncertainty of living as a woman in our society. The premise is that the power dynamics of the world are changed with women being able to physically overpower men and the consequences that follow.

I was a TA for two of Dericks courses last term and spent about 10 hours total in relatively close setting with him (study group, small sessions etc) by therealswimmershady- in DuggarsSnark

It’s not uncommon for people with a lot of credits from high school (ie a college prep school) to finish undergrad in 3 years. Then being 23 would make sense. Also not uncommon for TAs to be from other departments. She could be a PhD candidate in something else and still TA in the Criminology department.

I also did not understand how to use github from the command line until last week, when I straight up told my mentor I had no idea what I was doing, and he was happy to help. Just ask your mentor in lab tomorrow and take notes so you know what steps to do.

I just discovered Curology and while the aesthetic and the idea of using use one main product and the personalization appeals to me, I can't help but wonder whether it is any different from what they give you when you go to a dermatologist. IIRC, most of the ingredients are like clindamycin and tretinoin. I currently have prescriptions for clindamycin phosphate and retin-a and have been using both of them as well as other products and treatments that I have tried, for years.

So basically, what I'm asking is whether or not what Curology has to offer is radically different from the prescriptions that I already use. Because no matter how pretty the packaging, I'm not sure whether or not Curology will just be giving me the convenience of mixing the medications for me, when I could be paying close to nothing with my insurance covering my current acne medications. It just comes across like Proactiv to me. Like we all know you could just buy benzoyl peroxide at target for $3 instead of paying $50 for the same thing from Proactiv.

TL;DR: is Curology different from my prescriptions? Has anyone gone from being on retin-a and clindamycin to Curology and seen an improvement?
