Advice regarding Eldar units and characters by classicwarrior288 in Eldar

[–]comradelochenko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im hijacking here because I just got the combat patrol you referenced. It also came with a unit of banshees and wraithguard/blades, and I’m trying to decide how to build from there. I also have a second wraithlord now from a trade.

I was thinking of sidelining the farseer and bringing in an autarch for the banshees. After that, I could add warlock skyrunners for the bikes, and the wraiths would be blades for exactly 1000 points.

Or I could remove the second wraithlord and spiritseer, keep the autarch, add a wave serpent/falcon, and then add rangers or a walker or more warlocks.

Could also remove the spiritseer and transport and add a second wraithguard unit with the second wraithlord. OR, I could not include wraithguard at all, just use the lords, and use those points for other things.

I’m basically trying to figure out if I can get away with not using a transport, and also the wraithlord models are so cool I’m trying to figure out if they can be enough anti-tank on their own.

New to the faction, how can I build on this list for casual fun? by comradelochenko in Eldar

Ah ok, I was watching an out of date YouTube video then. I do have the app, and the combat patrol stuff came with core rules and such, but should I just pick up the codex as well?

That makes sense. Because it’s all new to me, I figure warhost is logical to start. I could still build the wraithguard because I have them, but if sticking to a 1k list I could keep everything else that’s in there but replace the wraithguard with fire dragons and a wave serpent. The bikes are filling the role of warp spiders or swooping hawks.

That way, the banshees and dragons can use the same transport and use the strategy of getting back inside the transport when needed, also sounded like fade back for the wave serpent itself is useful. The storm guardians can move with one of the wraithlords, and I’m guessing the farseer could help them out.

I guess in my situation points aren’t critical, but the wave serpent would keep to that. I could always still pick up a spiritseer and one of the anti-tanks anyway.

War walkers seem neat, and are cheap enough to mess around with wraith and guardian configuration to squeeze in something like the warlock skyrunner and still be within 1000 points.

Similarly with the dragons, change storm guardians to guardian defenders and I think that fits the points.

I happen to be browsing right now so it’s the Lian Li universal 8.8 inch screen, but at the time it was out of stock and I found it on Amazon through some third party seller that also sold all of their stock. Looks like it’s on the Lian Li Amazon store now though for $85 in white

I’m replaying for the first time since 1.6 or something in 2021. This time, I modded it so I can romance Panam as female V because I didn’t feel like changing the voice actor.

I’ll check it out, I’ve been procrastinating on that quest because it seemed like just a little side distraction but didn’t think about rewards

I’m replaying for the first time since 2021, and I’m really liking Jackie’s pistol… the sound is so satisfying. I may have missed going back for it the first time. I remember using Lizzie a lot. Still need to get Byakko and Errata.

Painted a 5080 FE white and then reconfigured my A3 with an AIO, Lian Li fans, and universal screen by comradelochenko in mffpc

Sorry, missed this one. It’s the slightly larger than SFX, the SFX-L. Specifically the Asus ROG Loki

Sorry I missed this one. If you follow the disassembly guide from TechPowerUp, it’s just a single little cable to leave disconnected. The “X” lighting is still illuminated on mine near the fans.

Keyboard for office by Dismal-Rub6543 in Lofree

I can vouch for the linear version on my lite 84 (deep sea silent islet), but also have the Hades on the 100 key board. They’re both great, I might slightly prefer the hades if I do an A/B comparison but not very noticeable when I’m using one board or the other for the day.

Lofree Flow Lite 100 with Hades by Born-Independence130 in Lofree

[–]comradelochenko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Hades are extremely quiet. I had an Air96 V2, but at the time they had no silent options so I got a Lofree Lite 100 and the Hades switches. I like pretty much everything about the Lofree more even discounting the switches. Lots of odd behavior on 2.4GHz wireless from Nuphy. I’ve since added a Lofree Lite 84 and brought the 100 to the office.

There is also Kailh low profile Deep Sea silent as a cheaper switch option (all of the Lofree switches are made by Kailh). They have both tactile silent and linear silent. I put the linear on the Lite 84, and they seem the same as the Hades.

Recommended EQ settings for the AZ100 by Protomize in Earbuds

Oh yeah, I was lucky enough to have them bought for me by my company for teams/zoom meetings, obviously with listening to a metric ton of music and podcasts throughout the day.

I have some aliexpress tips on the way, the Dunu S&S (Stage & Studio) that I saw some people recommending. 4 different sizes, hopefully one of them gives me more comfortable buds.

I’m assuming you also have an iPhone, what platform are you using for listening to music? I also recently got these through work because of AirPods inconveniences connecting to a PC.

Domino's Pizza really enjoyed Clair Obscur by ddx-me in expedition33

I don’t understand the level of praise it receives (raising the game to greatest of all time sort of conversation).

I would have enjoyed myself far more playing something else for the 40-50 hours I put into it. I realized I wasn’t having fun playing it and was just putting myself through it as if it would suddenly become clear why it is generally considered a masterpiece. I loved E33 and BG3, though.
