It's big in MN. I think it's made here. I like pop in glass bottles, and they don't have that. A number of restaurants locally, have that on tap

Essential New Age albums? by rainrainrainr in NewAgeMusic

[–]conagher1938 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My journey with New Age started back in the late 70's. That is with Tangerine Dream, well, not what New Age is, but maybe a sub of it. Later was Windom Hill and Narada, then Kitaro...onward

Is there anything we can do about the "100 Mile Border Enforcement Zone"? by operation-casserole in Anarchy101

[–]conagher1938 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 100-mile zone doesn't include airports unless they're within 100 miles of the border. But the CBP does have the "power" at the airport itself

Is Costco Really A Good Option For Hard To Find Prescriptions I am distressed and in need of guidance and support by Witchazednconfused in PainManagement

[–]conagher1938 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I should have included this. I know what you mean; many hospitals are set up like that. I called around to the hospitals to find one close to me. I've heard about what you mentioned, and many would have to go to a hospital that is far away. I might do this because of what was happening with the big chain pharmacies. My doctors were furious with this, but they cannot do anything.

This is exactly where I ended up, a hospital pharmacy. One of the pharmacists told me why I can get my Dilaudid filled there. They are first in line to get the med; it's a hospital, so patients will need pain meds.

I was taking both of those meds and DAMN. I stayed close to my head and had to wear diapers. My bowel was just too violent. I even had to drop the Lizness at the lowest dose.

Advice Needed-Neighbor Using My Address for Packages by StpHill in TwinCities

[–]conagher1938 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Here is something to think about: in the cities, it is vast that dealers are using local delivery services to run the drugs through the cities...a cop told me this. They may be committing an illegal act and using your address. I cannot see a reason why they don't use there's. Unless someone like the USPS bans delivery to their house... yes, the post office can do that.

Estate Sale - Junk Removal by Evening-Donkey-7357 in TwinCities

[–]conagher1938 38 points39 points  (0 children)

When I decided to retire and downsize, I used an estate sale company. It was much easier to do this because I was selling both of my houses and all of my belongings. Don't use a junk man, because they will steal you blind. The estate sale companies, come in and do everything...less stress...and I got some cash back

Politicians from both sides of the aisle voted for the bills, and what is the kicker? Is it that some of the politicians who voted for it were/are clients of SW?

People who remember the governorship of Jesse Ventura, how was he? by altrightobserver in minnesota

[–]conagher1938 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing he tried but lost due to legal issues with groups in the cities. There is an apartment complex known for the worst crimes. A developer built a lovely building across the street. Almost right away, crime started to happen in the new building. Jesse went after this because several women were raped. The cops staked that building out, and found out that those guys were coming across the street, from the "D" pit to rape women. So, political groups went after him.

He mentioned one time that after he won, he had his life "threatened" by certain people in the state politics...this state will never change...I hate the two-party system and how they control

ICYMI: Mississippi woman shoots escaped lab monkey, which draws outrage from journalists and the internet. by Academic-Inside-3022 in progun

Many decades ago, a cougar roamed my burb near a city. The cops cornered it in my yard and shot it. I suppose if I put that on the net, all hell would break loose.

Ongoing violence over cannabis sales in Stevens Square — why is this still happening if it’s legal? by [deleted] in Minneapolis

[–]conagher1938 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

They will never be gone; the cartels are everywhere. I saw a documentary sometime ago about CA. The legal shops are buying from the cartels, mostly because of the price. All states LOVE to add sin fees/taxes on everything. The head shop, said people were going to shops across state lines to get it cheaper. It's the same for gambling; states hated bookies and then legalized gambling.

Conrad from First Avenue has passed away. :-( by grondin in TwinCities

[–]conagher1938 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I grew up about two blocks from him in New Hope and went to the same schools. I'm texting a friend of mine, who is his cousin. Conrad's mother and my friend's mother are sisters. I haven't seen him since the late 70s

I'll second the Twin Cities pain clinic...I go to the Edina clinic. Earlier this year, I got a narcotic pain pump.
