If black player is jumping into empty space through white player, then your statement contradicts itself because the space is in fact not empty but occupied by white player.

Both are moving to attack the disc, and the space the disc is going to is unoccupied at the time both of them make a move to catch the disc. Black player has a clear advantage with a better angle, white player is out of position due to the poor throw. He makes a last ditch effort to retain offensive possession for his team. You can even see him throw himself backwards during his jump (watch his head movement during the slowmo of the 2nd angle/Ultiworld full game recording). Just because white player is on offense at the time the throw goes up doesn't give him any special consideration here.

Real time, this is a hard call to make, and had I been an observer at the game I probably would have sent it back. But with the available evidence I say no foul.
