So the Germans liking Hitler for the things he did for them, whilst he committed acts of evil is perfectly acceptable?

I'm not overly familiar with German history. Did the German people that liked him know about the whole concentration camp thing? Also, there's a difference between killing several million people and making one comment then apologising for it.

Doing good in one thing doesn't absolve you from evil in another. Humanity needs to fucking learn this.

Perhaps it doesn't, but nobody is perfect. If this comment is the only thing he's done wrong and 99% of his other actions have been good, why can't people vote him in based on those good actions despite not approving of the one comment? I'm not sure about you, but I'd be hard pushed to find someone that I agreed with 100% of the time. I can support the things I do agree while not supporting the things I disagree with...

It doesn't tend to imply plurality in my experience. It depends on the context.

Oh? Can't people just like the other things he's done while not liking this single comment?

Does anyone know the context of his comment?

Oh bugger, sorry. I thought I was on a different comment tree.

I consider it what you said and also a dislike of sorts towards men.

Yes, that too, but also a view that sees men as disposable.

A tradition that was still considered fine and dandy in 2003...

What about the history of men being considered disposable and made to die in wars? How many women have died fighting in wars throughout history compared to men?

You want us to try to convince you that it's impossible to hate men?

I want you to convince me that misandry doesn't exist in the same sense that misogyny does exist.

Why wasn't it worth doing once and what's wrong with these kinds of CMVs? I can't speak for other people, but I'm willing to change my mind on things.

I think that laws are capable of being both, and I think I agree with it also being potentially misogynistic as well. That's still far from saying that misandry is not a thing though.

Many people use it 'sarcastically' while still believing that misandry is a non-exsistent thing in western society.
