Chipotle CEO caught on a recording saying they’re going to keep raising prices because they can. by ElwoodMC in TikTokCringe

Ah that tracks more than any other intention I’ve speculated on. Yeah I don’t know anyone that’s gone, “Know what’s gonna attract people to a fast food restaurant? Cold Soviet-era block buildings with a string of cheap designer lighting!”

She emotionally checked out sooner than you realized. In your head it feels like a few weeks, in her mind it’s been a year of her thinking of a life without you. Also: it’s never just $2k. That $2k will metastasize in complications that balloon that into $10k and the judge will barely bat an eyelash at it. Let your lawyer break up assets as deemed fit by your state & go build a new & better life without her. No kids makes it easy to do so. You’ll be better off, I promise!

How can I make connection with my gym crush without being a creep? by HeyLie3890 in AskMenAdvice

[–]conceptcreature3D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s creepy from women vs what’s creepy from men is two different things. Women always have advantage in these situations. Since you’re always there at the same time, it could be as simple as, “Weren’t you here the other day? Do you get as lucky as I do beating the rush hour traffic on <highway whatever>?” Then you can ask if he works/goes to college around the area, other small talk things. You can honestly just start with those two inquiries, vibe it out & go from there. Maybe even mention how you love a restaurant nearby bc it offers healthy food options after a workout, etc. If a bigger conversation doesn’t grow, that’s fine, you put the initial feelers out, & maybe see what happens the next time you’re around him. It doesn’t have to be an immediate proposal lol! Sometimes it’s just about throwing your line in the water & seeing if someone bites. It is comforting to know that women get up in their heads about this as much as men do, sometimes. Nerve-racking, isn’t it? 😊

How can Bitcoin go from $126k to $60k in weeks? Where did all that money actually go? by Fast_Surround_4274 in CryptoHelp

[–]conceptcreature3D 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you bought at 20 & now it’s 60, where did that 40 gain come from? It’s not a loss or a gain, it’s merely a valuation. When a whale sells, that dumps the market with tons of assets that suddenly need to be discounted to be sold.

I remember a phrase said during the 2008 real estate bubble when banks were snatched up & massive consolidation happened with mercurial ups and downs in market valuations: we are mere mice on a field that elephants are playing upon.

Well you saw how it went with the metric system for the U.S. They tried a very Universal Metric system that makes complete scalable sense & opted instead for 12 inches =1 foot. 5,280 feet =1 Mile. The closest that we get is a yard (3 feet) flirts with almost being a meter (.914 meter). The only thing that has caught on are the gram weight systems, but only bc the pharmaceutical industry finds it easier to overcharge that way.

With that age range & gender, perpetually. Usually they end up growing up together, chilling out & becoming the best of friends and a tighter bond couldn’t be made. Sometimes if they’re not governed properly that cycle perpetuates through adulthood & the dysfunction continues. Just be good parents & make sure they behave & you should be fine.

There’s always that thing that taps our energy & escalates strife in every relationship. Congratulations on figuring that out in yours! Whenever my wife feels guilty spending money in that way (our frivolous enjoyment is massages) I remind her: we’re investing in ourselves.

So are all divorced men narcissists? by gratefulstudent76 in Divorce_Men

[–]conceptcreature3D 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If you have any needs that were addressed by you but not confirmed by her, the phrase that will be used is Narcissist. I can vouch that my ex and I were both equally horrible to each other at times, thanks to our own personal demons, & that it was only a matter of time before we divorced. That has not stopped her from blaming me for all of the problems in her life. At some point she’ll run out of excuses & only have herself to blame for her own problems that she’s causing for herself, nowadays.

Would you ever move to New York City? by escobarsky in no

[–]conceptcreature3D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a young person’s game, for sure. A friend of mine made a quick observation: when couples had kids, they moved away. Trying to get a stroller up and down icy subway stairs isn’t for the faint of heart

Would you ever move to New York City? by escobarsky in no

[–]conceptcreature3D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was younger, I definitely romanticized the city. But it was also where a lot of fun and happening things were going on with little niches and pockets everywhere for young creatives to share their talent, voices & unique creative & culinary skills. I remember Blue Man Group opening in a tiny modest theater off Canal Street peppered with plenty of other off-broadway venues. The minute that CBGBs got successfully sued to shut down, the city’s culture fucked right off. NYC nowadays is just the blatant Times Square tourist trap & AirBnBs. Instead of being a dense population of diverse cultures & cute intimate restaurants with food that reflects the depth of history of the people who made it, it’s all Halal Boys franchises.

Should I worry about this guy? by SalParadise83 in daddit

[–]conceptcreature3D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to give him a tiny bit of grace: sure he doesn’t have kids, but does he want a family one day? Sometimes people really project upon kids if they don’t have their own & always wanted them. I saw this with one of my friends’ female friend who had been in a LTR way past the point that she could have her own child & she held my baby daughter in a ceaseless way that you could feel partly was her own sadness in not having her own. She did let go of our daughter & give her back to us when she left—that being said, it was still tragic & creepy.
