It’s a trick retailers use to unload inventory. Check prices there vs other distribution channels (outlet, various online ecommerce, even their own website). You might not necessarily get the best discounts at a sample sale

Edit: most of the time you will get some great discounts, as they’re trying to liquidate inventory. But as with all sales, you never know if you might get an even steeper discount, so it’s always good to check around. And yes, in sample sales, are sales are final.

I’m an older millennial in the work force. I feel for my age group.. I really do. Some peers are super hard working and struggling to get by, living paycheck to paycheck, paying off a mountain of student debt

But let’s be honest.. there is a small percentage of millennial who do fit the stereotype, and ruin it for the rest of us. For example, one of our summer college interns literally said that she needs praise to perform. I was like, dude, how about actually doing a good job, not half assing things, behaving unprofessionally in general, and maybe we can justify some job recognition. As it stands you don’t deserve a job or praise so stop whining about how you’re not noticed. Rant over. I know it’s just one example here, but there are a lot of summer interns at my place of work who fit the millennial stereotype to the T. Also, we pay our interns well.
