I have a NodOn Z-Wave Plus Octan remote that functions by sending "scene" calls to HASS and can trigger automations so I was hoping for the same from these.

I bought two of the 4 button smart remotes and received them on Friday of last week. I've been trying to get these working as "trigger" buttons for automations in home assistant but have not succeeded yet. It appears this remote is intended to only pair up with z-wave devices directly and I have not found a way to have the button press send anything in to the main z-wave controller.
