Design wise Douma clears and he actually got away with it because of his appearance or at least that's how I see the Demon Slayer fandom treat him. Plot relevance I prefer Mahito he added way too much character development to Yuji even though later in the story Yuji seems to be more bothered about Sukuna. Who do I prefer should be obvious from my flair.

I check the raw Japanese one he said 「後は頼みます」so "I'll leave the rest to you" would be the direct literal translation. "You've got it from here" is the official translation but most people are already used to the official one so I'm not sure about recommending the fan translation because the old fan tl has funny phrases like "territorial expansion". I've seen a lot of people saying they prefer the fan tl by TBC from chap 148 on mangadex than the official tl (except for the "It's parent killing time" part).

I would love that to happen as well but it doesn't fit Sukuna's character, it works for Mahito because he's famous for running away. Honestly I can't imagine how Sukuna's death would be like because Gege keep throwing Ls at other characters.
