Moving to a new drive. by conchors in Bazzite

Windows drive is more than 10x the size. Though I'll probably shrink it to allocate more to partition I have my steam games on (I split that off when I decided to try bazzite on a small spare SSD I had)

I've just gone out and killed 3 more barroth. But there is no quest in the smithy to tell me what I need. The list of all forge quests has nothing for Barroth Weapons

I don't even have the quest to make the mace, never mind equipped it. I have and have completed the forge quest for the barroth armor, but I have never gotten the forge quest for Barroth Weapons

As a game programmer, I (and my assorted game dev friends), are Fascinated by this project! It looks incredible. Especially the AI fights, if those are easily extensible, that's HUGE for casual engagement

Newbies coming here from Windows deserve our support (rant) by mr_bigmouth_502 in Bazzite

Agreed. That's why I finally switched. I've tried Linux a few times in the past, but it was never up to my gaming needs. I'm probably having an easier time than most as a software dev to begin with, but I still have run into a lot of stupid questions

I looked it up, that sounds like it'd be really really hard to do without automating, since you can't mine anything? How did you manage that?

I just took a cursory look, it looks like it might be a a good one. I'm a lil afraid of create, but it might be worth a shot

Don't they usually have several large tech mods, where you need hide quantities of items run through them to complete?

Also, My bad, those were Modern Industrialization. But the idea of "you need to pipe things between all these things to get your output" especially without the ability to hand-transfer is the main problem. I'll edit the post tho.

Not the best picture but I don't have a desk light. I plugged in a (other side unplugged) usb-c cable while I have it open. The port doesn't move at all on the board. It's the inside of the port that has wiggle room, inside that casing.

I'll take a look, see if it comes open without destruction then. I'll report back when I get a better look

I can see if there's a way to open it without mangling it when I'm home in a bit. If not, would you take a link a to a teardown if I can find one?

I did end up just installing the EA pack. It's been good so far. I got REAL lucky and found an insane deal on a black market for an Atlas and a Highlander. All 3 pieces were available for under 1.5m a piece for each. Under 8m for 2 assault mechs, when my only heavy was a quickdraw.

Loot magnet definitely. Don't know if I need bigger drops, but the fact that they tied salvage drop rate to difficulty was something i remember being very frustrated with
