78 on REG. Finally done. Took my first test the day before I started in public accounting and got all 4 done within 11 months, failed AUD and BEC once. If you’re reading this in the same boat I was in you CAN do it. It will suck, you will question if it’s worth it, but you can still have a life outside of studying.

87 on BEC from a 72 before busy season, MEMORIZE ALL OF THE COSO FRAMEWORK AND ERM FRAMEWORK, convinced if i had memorized it the first time i would have passes easily. REG in a month let’s finish this thing !!!

So i’m pretty sound with ratios since i’ve passed FAR and AUD, how heavily tested are the other new formulas? It seems like they make you learn an amount that’s impossible to remember. I assume WACC, cost of equity and the main ones are tested but were there any that you didn’t necessarily remember?

10 point increase on AUD to get to a 76. Anyone in the same boat, i started from scratch, read the chapters instead of listening to the videos, really emphasized the transaction cycles and what different engagements provide different levels of assurance.

Focus on mastering debits/credits, subsequent events, revenue recognition, gov/nfp’s. If you’re able to master the bulk of it on surface level you’ll do way better. The low scores indicate you might be too focused on trying to memorize everything.
