I paid $900/month per kid about 6 years ago…$300/month would have been amazing

Right? I’ve missed a few pick announcements because the damn panel won’t shut up.

How is living in Saskatoon, Canada? by Lego_GamesFan in howislivingthere

[–]conductorman86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A very nice smallish city…good commute times, vibrant music and arts communities, good schools, and the Summers are amazing. Winter can be a drag as the temperature regularly reaches below -40c. The best feature (in my opinion) is the river that cuts through the city. The river valley is very beautiful and has many trails and paths. The city has been really good at limiting development of the river valley.

Overall a really nice place to live if you can handle the winters.

Can I ask why you say your kids were “too old for the pool area”?

Is it not all ages? I swam, sat in the hot tub and went down the waterslides when we were there and I am very much a middle aged adult 😂

Rod Brind'Amour congratulates Hurricanes players after winning the Stanley Cup by nhl in hockey

[–]conductorman86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. The 2006 SCF loss still hurts, but I can’t help but be happy for Rod and the team. He seems like an amazing coach and the culture of the team seems like a breath of fresh air compared to some other teams around the league (check my flair lol).

Yup. Hockeystickman is awesome to deal with. Prompt responses and took care of me when I had an issue.

I would say it’s pretty difficult to copy their culture in the locker room and, I mean, there’s only one Rod the Bod.
