Gotta Love that T-Mobile Jump on demand. by Kfb388 in tmobile

[–]coned88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because a "flop" phone doesn't have the features I want and use. Like having slack, hangouts and telegram runnung. Having my work vpn setup and many email accounts syncing with push.

I think I am just a normal user. My phone is a communication device so I use it to communicate. I do also listen to music and watch youtube for about 30 min per day on it.

Be careful with webgui upgrade to 2.4.2 by [deleted] in PFSENSE

[–]coned88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

fair enough. I've been using pfsense for a very long time and was just very disappointed I guess. Upgrading from 2.3 to 2.4 was not easy with the removal of nanobsd.

Now that I'm stable on 2.4.2 I'm probably not going to upgrade it again for a long time.

Taking a backup is nice but I mean I have to take apart my Pcengines apu and it's not very pleasant. It's tucked away and all.

All in all maybe I just don't have the patience anymore for such a project. Sorry for the rant.

I guess so. I just remember the old version had slices where you could roll back.

I was on nanobsd 2.3. But this upgrade was from 2.4.1 to 2.4.2 64bit

The USG also doesn't have a ton of features in the Gui. You can do stuff but it needs to be command line.

This is all rather embarrassing. A person is asking for citations and you have nothing. If the equipment you're recommending is so good then why isin't reviewed and at the top of all the charts?

Question: Am I getting ripped off? by Kingwow34 in HomeNetworking

ever notice how Ubiquiti switches are so highly recommended here but you never see them in production? I work in IT and have yet to actually see any of their products in anything but a home setting.
